Elder Services throughout Central Washington
From companionship programs and volunteer services that help with day-to-day chores to relief for overburdened caregivers, we offer services to help this often-marginalized population.
Help low-income seniors to stay in their homes by assisting with transportation and helping with yard work. Make a big difference by giving just a few hours per week.
Senior Companions (55+)
Senior companion volunteers provide emotional support and friendship. This can mean meeting at the
senior’s home, giving them rides to appointments, doing crafts or other activities, but most of all just
spending time with them.
Catholic Charities Housing Services in Prosser
Through affordable housing, homeownership, and a variety of resident services, we aim to reduce poverty in the communities we serve.
Mutual Self-Help Program
This “self-help” homeownership program offers first-time buyers the chance to achieve their dream of
homeownership. Come alongside families to help them earn “sweat equity” in their new homes.
AmeriCorps members give ten months to one year of service to support different areas where Catholic Charities is bringing hope to life.
