Catholic Charities Hires Volunteer Manager

Becki Lambert recently joined the staff of Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington as the Volunteer Manager. A former Yakima resident, Lambert moved back to the Valley from Wlier, Switzerland. She spent five years there serving with Youth with a Mission in the Justice Discipleship Training School. She led students on social outreaches to the most vulnerable in Romania, Bulgaria, Malawi, and more.

Lambert holds a Master of Arts in Communication and Culture from Trinity International University and a Bachelor of Science in Bible. She has worked with Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. in their Immigration and Refugee Department, served with AmeriCorps VISTA in Phoenix, AZ, and taught English and served with a ministry in Taipei, Taiwan.

She looks forward to meeting people in the Valley who are interested in volunteering with the many programs that the agency offers throughout the Diocese of Yakima.
