FYI - Foster Youth Independence

FYI aims to support youth in foster care, help them find housing, and provide ongoing case management.

- Services Offered:

  • Assistance with paying move-in fees (if funds are available).
  • Job search support.
  • Resume building assistance.
  • Budgeting guidance.
  • Ongoing case management.
  • And much more

- Eligibility Criteria:

  • Age: Youth must be at least 18 and not more than 24 years old (not reached their 25th birthday).
  • Foster Care Status: Youth must have left or will leave foster care within 90 days.

- Duration of Assistance: FYI vouchers issued to youth can only be used for housing assistance for 36 months.
