Catholic Charities Names Behavioral Health and Crisis Programs Director
Catholic Charities Serving Central Washington has promoted Steven Hightower to Behavioral Health and Crisis Programs Director, a newly created position for the agency. Hightower will lead the Catholic Charities’ Behavioral Health and Crisis programs in Wenatchee and surrounding areas where Catholic Charities provides contracted Behavioral Health and Crisis Services.
“Steven is known for his innovative leadership in the development of Catholic Charities Crisis services over the last seven years,” states Kim Hatfield, North Central Director. “He is the perfect person for this role with his experience as a Designated Crisis Responder, a Licensed Mental Health Provider, and highly respected leader. Steve’s willingness to go above and beyond has been proven time and time again in the growth and development of our agency’s crisis programs.”
In collaboration with the North Central Director, Hightower will operate existing Behavioral Health and Crisis programs in line with the mission and vision of Catholic Charities and will assure the programs meet compliance requirements. He will work with Behavioral Health and Crisis Lead Managers to ensure that program operations meet contractual and funder requirements for program staffing and service delivery
